Yes — fully. Both Naad and Loupe work entirely from your local device storage and require no internet connection once installed. Your music and photos stay on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

Naad supports MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, OGG Vorbis, Opus, WMA, APE, and DSD (DSF/DSDIFF). Hi-res files up to 32-bit/384kHz are played without any downsampling.

Loupe supports all standard JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, WebP, TIFF, and BMP files, plus major RAW formats including CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, RW2, ORF, PEF, RAF, and DNG.

No. Naad is a local music player — it plays audio files you own and have stored on your device or connected network storage. It does not connect to any streaming service. This is intentional: local playback is faster, works offline, and doesn't require a subscription.

You can add music to Naad on iOS via iTunes/Finder File Sharing, the Files app, or AirDrop. On Android, simply place your music files in any folder on your device storage and Naad will find them automatically on the next library scan.

First, try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the problem persists, check that you're on the latest app version. If it still crashes, email us (below) with your device model, OS version, app version, and a description of what you were doing when it crashed.

Yes — download on as many devices as you like. There's no account, no licence limit, and no device cap. The same free download works everywhere.

Yes. Both apps follow your system's appearance setting (light or dark) automatically. You can also override this in the app settings.
